The rule of thumb
If it's small, legal, non-valuable, and you can show exactly what it is — it's fine.If it's cash, valuables, sealed-and-secret, or anything illegal or hazardous — it's not. When in doubt, leave it out.

This isn't just Raahi's policy — most of these are prohibited across all courier and postal services in India too. The traveller carrying your parcel is responsible for what's in their bag, so these items are never allowed.
How the open-box check keeps everyone safe
When you post a parcel, you declare exactly what's inside and agree to the prohibited-items list. Before your राही carries it, they do a quick open-box checkto confirm the contents match. It takes a moment and it's the heart of the trust model: the sender is honest, the traveller knows what they're carrying, and prohibited items never make it onto the network.
